Thanks to Angel & about 11 other people I’m following, I’ve decided to also do the 30 Day Letter Challenge too. I doubt I’ll do it every day either but when I remember or have the time, I’ll do it. I guess I’ll start with number 1 (A letter to your best friend.)
Dear Sam,
I have no idea if you even go on tumblr anymore and if you’ll see this, but I’m going to write it anyway. When I saw that it said to write a letter to my best friend, I had no hesitation in knowing that I would write to you. You’ve been my best friend for about ten years now. I know that our younger years don’t really count, but as the years progressed you showed me that you’re trustworthy, loving, and capable to do anything you put your heart to. I never really tell you this cause, shoot, egos can get to one’s personality- but I think you’re pretty damn amazing. I know you when you’re weak, when you’re strong, when you’re being funny or serious. There have been so many people in my life that have been in then out, carrying knives of betrayal with them behind their backs. You’ve never been one of them. In all the ten years, there hasn’t been a moment where I thought about not being your friend anymore. You seriously have been there through it all. I don’t know your reasons for sticking by me and by whatever I do, but you do it. You’re smart and sensible, and I hate it when you’re upset. All the things you do for me you should know I would do too. You’re my bestesterestedest friend in the world- you know it cause i tell you everythanggg. Shine on me, be free, my love. <3
